CODE OF CONDUCT PLAYERS & PARENTS
Follows the new government and FA guidance
Winning is not everything, grassroots football is all about having fun whilst developing fundamental skills of football such as physical, technical, social and philological.
Players Code Of Conduct
You must remember to play your part in sharing best standard of behaviour during your time at I.F.A.
When playing, I will;
- Play to the best of my ability
- Talk to somebody I trust or welfare officer if I’m unhappy about something in the academy
- Understand that coaches has to do what is best for the team
- Encourage and support my teammates to do well
- Always play by the rules and respect referees
- Pay full attendtion when my coach is speaking
- Respect the facility & field of play (Home & Away)
I understand that if I do not follow the code of conduct, I may;
- Be required to apoligise to my team mates, other team mates, coaches or referees
- Receive a formal warning from academy member
- Be susituted with another player in trainings or matches
- Be asked to leave the academy
Parents Code Of Conduct
You are the biggest supporters and fans of your child. Therefore, it is important that you also promote high standards of behavior in the academy.
When watching, I will;
- Remember that my child is playing for fun
- Always respect the Match Officials Decision
- Stay behind the respect barrier (where provided)
- Let the coaches do their job and not speak over them
- Encourage the players to respect each other
- Avoid critisising a player for making a mistake
- Avoid critisising a player for making a mistake
- Not use abusive, offensive language
I understand that if I do not follow the code of conduct, I may;
- Be asked to have a meeting with the academy welfare officer
- Be asked to leave the Facility
- Not be allowed to attend future games
- Be suspended or have my membership removed
- Be asked to leave the academy
