This website, www.inventivefootballacademy.com is owned and operated by INVENTIVE FOOTBALL ACADEMY also known as I.FA and INV3NTIVE. In this privacy policy page we have set out how Inv3ntive Football Academy use and protect any information that you give us when you use our website.
Every programme at INVENTIVE FOOTBALL ACADEMY is conducted in accordance with the GDPR and with the Data Protection Act 2018. This privacy policy explains how I.F.A uses personal information and the steps we take to ensure the information you provide us is kept safe and secure.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?
We collect personal information from anybody that wants to take part in any of our activities. Whether you only want to book a single football training session for your child or become our league teams member, you will still be asked for provide some personal data. We may collect data either via online forms or through emails.
If players are aged 18 years or below, we will request parent/guardian/carer information.
The type of information we may ask for when you wish to use our online services:
- Childs Name
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Address
- Medical details
- Contact details for player and/or guardian
- Comments
In circumstances where players are competing in competitions or leagues, we will also request a passport photo, photograph and signature from the player, for league registration purposes.
As part of the process of registering with Inv3ntive Football Academy, you may have provided consent for you and/or your child to be photographed by club management staff or team managers, and for these photos to be shared on our website, social media channels or other official media outlets. If you would subsequently like to withdraw consent, please email vinay@inventivefootballacademy.com.
How will we use the information you provide us?
The information provided by you will be held in a secure online system hosted by siteground.co.uk, which can only be accessed by the Inventive Football Academy registration officer. Your data is used solely for the purposes of administering your bookings and membership (including being contacted by your age group’s manager and registration officer on key matters concerning team, training, and match information, as well as academy news). The registration officer will then share some key information of the player’s to relevant age group managers; specifically medical details and contact details.
When registering, you will also have the option to opt in to the I.F.A newsletter.
What information we share with third parties?
In general, any information you provide will only be used internally within the organisation. It will never be supplied to anyone external to INVENTIVE FOOTBALL ACADEMY unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. For the purposes of League registration, the following information will be shared with the player’s respective league:
- Name
- Address
- Parents/Guardians Name
- Proof of Documents
- Photo
INVENTIVE FOOTBALL ACADEMY will not share information about you with third parties for any other reason without your explicit consent.
What steps do we take to secure your information?
Your information will be stored on secure data servers hosted by site ground.co.uk, which implements technical safeguards such as automatic back-ups and recovery, multi-factor authentication, encrypted passwords, and encrypted sessions to secure this information.
Access to your information and correction/removal
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. You also have the right to request for your personal data to be removed or to correct any information you think is inaccurate, at any time.

Volunteers/staff and third party coaches
To ensure safety for our members, we have an extensive checking and approvals process for all staff, volunteers and third party coaches.
All coaches and managers have to complete DBS Checks, as well as FA badges that include a Safeguarding children certificate and First Aid certificate. All DBS checks are managed through FA GBG group and administered by the I.F.A Welfare Officer.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file which is copied onto your hard disk by a website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. You can disable the use of cookies at any time via the settings on your browser. Some cookies allow personal information to be gathered about visitors.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information incase changes needs to be made.
